The Valley Artisans Market presents The Vermont Pastel Society Southwest Regional HUB Members Show.
Over twenty pastel paintings were selected to participate in this show.
You can meet many of the artists at the Opening Reception on June 15th from 3 to 5 pm.
The exhibit showcases a wide range of work from the fourteen SW Regional HUB members, who come from the surrounding Southern Vermont towns and outside the State of VT.
The Vermont Pastel Society was established by a group of artists in 1999 to build and strengthen connections among pastel painters, to foster their artistic development, and to provide links to resources. To help reach those goals, the VPS sponsors annual juried exhibitions, member shows and Regional HUB shows for its member artists. In 2017, the VPS established seven Regional HUBs in order to provide their 100 plus artist membership Regional groups where the artists can conveniently meet monthly to discuss their work, workshops, shows and the love of pastels. These HUBs have proven to be a valuable tool for pastel artists. The VPS is always looking for new members and invites pastel artists in any State to become a member.
