About the Artist:
I’m a born and raised Glens Falls native who has been working professionally as a full-time career painter, illustrator, and freelance artist since 2019. I have always made art daily throughout my life since childhood, but never went to art school and didn’t start painting full-time until 2012. I had my first solo show in 2013 “The Collection of the Unknown” at Aimee’s Dinner & A Movie Gallery, comprised of 24 original paintings. I’ve since exhibited in 4 other solo shows and over a dozen juried group exhibits including at the historic Hyde Collection Museum. My most recent solo show was at LARAC’s Lapham Gallery in 2021, “Through the Eyes”, comprised of over three dozen paintings.
My original paintings also reside in permanent art collections around the world including Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz painted portraits at Wiawaka on Lake George, the oldest operating women’s art retreat in the United States, as well as a custom painted Adirondack Chair that is permanently displayed overseas in Japan at Saga City Hall. In my illustrating career I have worked with clients such as Marvel and 20th Century Fox, and locally with Saratoga Springs Publishing where I have illustrated currently 16 children’s books and have won 8 national book awards including 2022 Book of the Year with the Outstanding Creator Awards. My artwork can also be seen in numerous feature length films including The Retreat, Dawn of the Beast, and First Contact which I was also credited as the Art Director.
